I am going to share some benefits of Vitamins..
Vitamins are classified in two generic categories; vitamins with biological activity, and the ones with chemical activity.

Vitamins can also be subcategorized in families, such as, for example, Vitamin A, which includes nutrients like retinol, retinal and some carotenoids. The biochemical functions of vitamins are diversified. Some vitamins will act as hormones, others as antioxydants, coenzymes, catalysts and others.

Vitamins are essential for the growth of an organism, and humans are no exceptions. We need a certain daily intake of
vitamins to help our body function, grown, digest, etc.

While the human body itself will produce certain types of nutrients such as Vitamin K, Biotin and a form of Vitamin B, it is important to ensure that your lifestyle will allow your body to get everything it needs in terms of vitamins and nutrients. Multivitamins can be a great alternative for people lacking a certain vitamin or wanting to boost their diet. Of course, there is basic caution to be taken when deciding to take multivitamins, as some might not be recommended for people with special conditions, such as pregnant women or heavy smokers.

A visit to a health professional is always recommended if you think you should start taking multivitamins, to ensure that you get the right brand and the right vitamins.

Ok, so we need to settle on a final name. One, so we can get the paperwork done and turned in to DVG America, but mostly so we can design and wear really cool t shirts.
Anyway, the Copper Creek part is good, just need to finish out the name.
We are a DVG club as opposed to a Schutzhund USA club. The main difference being Schutzhund USA is a German Shepherd club that allows other breeds to participate and DVG is an all-breed club.
The initials DVG stand for Deutscher Verband der Gebrauchshundsportvereine which roughly translated means German Association of Utility Dog Sports clubs.
Here are the choices
Copper Creek Working Dog Guild (guild means an association of people in pursuit of a craft or goal)
Copper Creek Working Dog Alliance
Copper Creek Working Dog Association (most clubs use that)
Copper Creek Sport Utility Dog Alliance (we have SUDs)
Copper Creek Service Dog Alliance or Association
If you would like to make suggestions along these lines please do, or you can just pick your favorite and post.

For those who would like to know about changes in training times, or weather issues this will be helpful. You will need to activate the "Subscribe via SMS" feature. Look on the top left of the page just below the logo. Only activate this if you want to receive instant texts when updates are posted, otherwise you will get updates in your regular Facebook home page.
I am requesting that all Copper Creek DVG members activate this feature in order to facilitate member notifications of training schedules.

This forum needs your support to work. Please make suggestions. We can add sections for specific types of posts or just about anything that can be done on a forum. We can create a whole forum just for police officers, add password protection, to some, all or none of the sections....

We own a hosting site so we can create multiple web locations if we want. We have lots of web construction software and will be launching a separate web site for Copper Creek Service Dogs in the near future. Copper Creek Service Dogs (CCSD) is the name we coined for the working dog club we started at WolfBrook. CCSD meets on WolfBrook's (the Holbrook's) property but it is a non profit dog club that will have its own member managing board in the near future. CCSD will be affiliated with whatever national/international dog training/breeding clubs and organizations the members feel will benefit them.

The club is currently meeting on Thursdays and Saturdays at 6:00PM. Mondays WolfBrook is closed for business but open for use by K9 teams all day. As we need them we will add more training times. K9 officers in the area who have specific needs can get support simply by calling WolfBrook and asking for Mike. Although we have work to do just about any day we can usually shuffle the schedule to accommodate our local K9 officers.

We know it is hard for K9 officers to get time and assistance training their dogs. We hope this forum and CCSD will provide much needed support.

This is the thread for posts about training. We do not guarantee that a WolfBrook employee will answer every post. We reserve the right to delete or suspend posts that we believe advocate methods which may endanger dogs or people.

We believe solid training requires: sound methods, good planning/staging, good handling and recognition of temperament (handler & dog). Problems in any single or combination of these training considerations can prevent positive results. We consider all four of these areas when we face training issues, recognizing and adjusting each as we feel is needed to reach goals. We tend to qualify our thoughts and comments in these areas.

We will use this forum as a place for people to document thier interest in specific forms of training. Special classes need a minimum #of interested parties to be added to the schedule. This forum will serve as the official place to collect enough participants for classes. Club membership is not required to request or sign up for training classes.
